Never stop playing with your dog!

I have always struggled getting Flynn’s play drive out. He was never interested in chase and catch and surprisingly would not challenge me in possession games. Over the past few months I’ve seen brief sparks of him getting more into it. This morning we had the best interaction ever!

I had just gotten out of bed and noticed Flynn was edgier than usual. I ran down the hall way and grabbed this bite pillow. He bit it and his eyes lit up, I could almost see the light bulb click on. He gave me serious effort for the first time ever!

Even if it doesn’t happen right away, don’t stop trying. One day your efforts will pay off. ❤️

I’ve recently been spending time at Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, it is truly an incredible place filled with genuine love and dedication to the dogs they care for. Below are a few of the wonderful, adoptable dogs that I have had the joy of getting to know.
