I want to thank everyone for the support and congratulations on this amazing accomplishment. I have always looked at my career as a team effort. It takes many links to make a chain! There is no I in team.
I’m extremely blessed to have the people I have on my team!
I would not be here without Kari Hardy. She’s been with me through thick and thin. Picked me up when I was down been my number one supporter.
Bob Hardy put me in the drivers seat. He supported me even when it didn’t look like this deal was going to work.
And to all of my owners over the years that believed in me.

Foxy Cowgirl Prevails in Cox Ranch Distaff Challenge

Foxy Cowgirl secured an automatic berth to the AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship with a determined victory in Sunday's $45,000 Cox Ranch Distaff Challenge Stakes at North Dakota Horse Park.

Ridden by Scott Bethke, the 5-year-old sorrel mare battled her inside rival throughout before pulling clear late to win by 1¼ lengths, covering 400 yards in :20.123 over a fast track while earning a 99 speed index.

Owned by CLC Partners and trained by Edward Hardy, Foxy Cowgirl was bred in Iowa by Christine Hovey. The daughter of champion Flying Cowboy 123 out of the Valiant Hero mare Foxy Millie improved her record to 19 starts, 8 wins, 2 seconds and 3 thirds. The $20,250 winner's share boosted her career earnings to $229,915.
