Town of Albion & Town of Orwell Dog Control - Altmar & Orwell, NY Dogs must have a rabies vaccination and license after 6 months of age. Dogs must be on a leash or accompanied by its owner who can control it by command.

Dogs picked up in Altmar or Orwell will be posted.

Appears to be a lab and a German shepherd. Very friendly. No collars. They ran back into the woods before I could get out there.

They seem to be well loved and well mannered. Hoping they went home.

If you know who they belong to, try to get ahold of them.

One on Wednesday May 6th in Pulaski and one on Wednesday May 20th in Parish!!

Call a week before the clinic to schedule an appointment. A donation of $7 is requested.

Friendly reminder that your dogs need to be on your property or within your sight AND leashed if they don’t have a recall.
That means if they see someone and they won’t listen to you when you call them, or they see a dog and won’t come back to you, they need to be on a leash.

That is your responsibility as a dog owner for your safety, the safety of your dog, and the safety of the public.

There is also a rabies clinic coming up in May! Get your dogs shots up to date and license them! Also your responsibility as a dog owner!
