We would love for you to join us on Wed. June 3rd during our hands-on microgreen workshop .cafe.longwood .longwood.

We’ll guide you in growing your own tray of superfood microgreens! No green-thumb required and they can be grown right in your window in as little as 2 weeks.
Our seeds and grow medium are organic. Our trays are food-grade/ BPA free and we’ll use our filtered Kangen water.

During this interactive workshop, you will:

• Plant your own 5x5 microgreen grow kit to take home. Plus- receive an extra packet of seeds and grow medium to plant a second grow 🌱

• Sample a variety of fresh microgreens

• Learn how to grow and care for microgreens successfully at home

• Discover the science-backed nutritional benefits that microgreens offer

HIGH SCHOOL HOMESCHOOL WORKSHOP 🌱

We headed to Jacksonville for a special hands-on microgreen workshop with an awesome group of homeschool high school students 🌱

Not only did they learn what microgreens are, sample them fresh, and plant their very own grow kits, they also got a behind-the-scenes look at the business side of running a small-scale vertical farm.

It’s always so rewarding to help inspire the next generation to connect with healthy food, sustainability, and entrepreneurship 🙌🌞🌱

Thank you to our very sweet friend, Carrie who teaches plant-based culinary classes at the school… in one of the pics you can see some of the delicious plant-based brownies they made. Shoutout to Carrie for some of these pics too! 💟

When I was going through nursing school (iykyk 🤪), I made time to juice at least every other day. Between long study nights, clinicals, etc. juicing (and making nourishing meals and smoothies) were a few ways I cared for myself in the middle of the absolute chaos.

Making fresh, cold-pressed juice made me feel energized, focused, and grounded. I never had to rely on caffeinated drinks.

Back then I used an Omega juicer, these days we use our stainless steel juicer from and we absolutely love it 👌🌱

This week we are so excited to collab with Carrie, owner of Shakti Life in Atlantic Beach/Jax. I came across her amazing organic, raw vegan food at a farmer’s market years ago. She’s now teaching plant-based culinary classes. We’ll be visiting her homeschool community and teaching them all about microgreens, offering samples, plus they’ll plant their own 💟
