Vom Ridgeline Wild Bird Hunting...
We have 1 spot that has become available. Leaving Monday 10/28/2024
on our trailer for exposure to wild bird hunting. In the event that you have a bird dog and your busy schedule does not allow you to give it the hunting exposure you would like. Please feel free to contact us at (435)322-0156
Young dogs will have the opportunity to make the transition from pen raised birds to wild birds while developing a sense of desire and confidence. Experienced dogs will be able to refine and polish their skills. In the course of a month of working wild birds, dogs become physically and mentally fit and are ready to perform at their best.
In addition to handling and bird work, we will be working on conditioning every day. In adverse conditions, the dogs will have the opportunity to improve their ability to scent and work birds. Repetition of successful wild bird finds help to create and/or maintain a proficient bird finder.
As a hunter, it is very difficult to effectively train a dog and get many game birds in your bag at the same time.
We have the advantage, as trainers, of being able to always focus on your dog during our workouts. By sending your dog with us for exposure on wild birds, your dog will be consistently held to a high level of performance during daily wild bird workouts.
These opportunities are a great experience for any dog. Whether a young puppy needing bird exposure, a freshly trained dog in line for additional experience and to transition to wild game or a seasoned gun dog needing their annual tune up, all bird dogs can benefit from this program.
We only have a few available spots left for our 2024 trip.
