Our newest member!!!

Meet “Remy” — a 36 yo Umbrella Cockatoo and our newest resident!

Her elderly owners are no longer able to care for her, as one passed away recently and the other is being transferred from the hosptial to long-term care. They were the only family she has ever known, so this was a stressful transition for her. However, she is adapting well!!! She has her own room so she can have a quiet, contained space to adapt in the months ahead! Her room has natural lighting for proper circadian rhythm regulation, plus she has an upper view over the farm through her window, which she loves! She also craves her daily out of time cage with us, hanging out in the living room. She is a very talkative girl and has already bonded with us, so we are more than thrilled to have her!

Remy will be a long-term resident as long as she thrives with us, so she will not be available for adoption.
