Our Pet of the Week this week is Cheyene!
Today is the last day to adopt Cheyene for only $50, half the normal adoption fee. The fee includes neuter, heartworm test, microchip and all of the vaccinations.
Cheyene is a spirited 6-month-old German Shepherd mix with a love for adventure! He’d make the perfect jogging, hiking, or biking companion. Cheyenne is treat-motivated and learning good manners, though he sometimes gets so excited that he jumps up to greet people and dogs. His training is ongoing, and with consistency, he’ll grow into a well-mannered but always enthusiastic partner. He thrives with exercise and engagement, as all puppies do! Cheyenne is kennel and house trained and continues to learn on a leash. If you’re ready for a loyal, playful, and adventure-loving pup, he might just be your perfect match! *** Update, her afooter is coming for her this afternoon!*** Our Pet of the Week this week is Bonita!
Until the end of the day, October 19th, Bonita can be adopted for only $50, half the normal adoption fee. The fee includes spay, feline leukemia/FIV snap test, microchip and all of the vaccinations.
Bonita came into the shelter September 8th. As luck would have it, the shelter manager just happened to be heading back to the shelter and saw little Bonita run straight through traffic. Luckily the person immediately in front of her saw Bonita as well and stopped so she could be rescued.
Bonita was very scared at the time of her rescue but with lots of love and cuddles she has come to be not only Bonita but so sweet.
Bonita is quiet and surely won't be too disruptive in a new home as kittens tend to be.

***update, the Curr has been reclaimed! He was reunited because a friend of the owner saw the facebook post, recognized the dog and let them know. It takes just a second to share our found pet posts and it helps get these fur babies back where they belong so, thank you for sharing!***3 new intakes in the last couple of days. If you know any of these dogs please contact us at 432-837-9030 or 432-837-3486. We would love to get them home! The red and white dog is named Bruno, we attempted to contact the owner associated with the microchip with no luck.srk yp
