Just in case someone missed this in their research of my business... I have been in professional post-secondary school for dog training for almost 2 years now... I am mid-way through my Masters course and have been hired as an instructor for the lower educational courses that I have completed... I have been teaching other trainers for nearly a year now and very slowly (at my own decision) growing my side business training clients that are in desperate need of immediate attention! I prefer to let my work speak for itself, rather than paying for certifications that anyone can purchase😉.

Karen founded Leader of the Pack in 2002. She graduated from from Georgia State University in 1994 with a degree in Communications/Education. In 2001 Karen earned her Dog Educator/Trainer Certification from Jo Thor's Dog Training Academy.

After volunteering for local humane associations and witnessing first hand how the lack of training can literally destroy a dog's life, she left her 12 year career as a corporate training facilitator and project manager to pursue her passion for dogs.

Buddy needs a loving home. Lab/ Malamute mix with the happy, go lucky personality of a Lab. Good with other dogs, people, kids.
