Our store is closed today so our team can celebrate (and snuggle) at home — but we know some of you are having a ruff night.

If your dog is hiding, trembling, or barking at the sky — you’re not alone.
Here’s what to do, right now:

🧨 Your Fireworks Survival Checklist:
✅ Act calm, even if you’re not — your dog mirrors you
✅ Let them hide — closets, bathrooms, behind the couch... it’s all fair game
✅ Play calming music or white noise
✅ Give high-value distractions — frozen Kongs, chew bones, treat puzzles
✅ Don’t scold, don’t push — fear isn’t something you can discipline away
✅ Use CBD if you have it — our calming treats & oils are best used before the chaos, but still helpful now
✅ Check ID tags + microchip info — better safe than sorry

Fireworks are coming. Your dog doesn't understand patriotism — they hear BOOM, CRACK, and RUN.
But you can help.

Here’s how to create a Safe Zone at home tonight:

✅ Pick a quiet space — a closet, bathroom, or laundry room works great
✅ Add familiar scents — a worn t-shirt, their blanket, favorite toy
✅ Use soft lighting or white noise
✅ Try calming music (yes, there are Spotify playlists just for dogs 🐕🎶)
✅ Let them go in freely — no pressure, no forcing

Start using it today — give treats, hang out together, make it a chill space before the fireworks start tomorrow.
