Good morning on this SUNNY DAY ☀️‼️ So sorry to go back and forth on this but we have decided to go ahead and close for our vacation in October so we can really relax and not have to worry about anything. No boarding will be available October 16-26th. Sorry for any inconvenience but this is our first vacay in 4 years!! Thanks for your understanding and for continuing to trust us to take care of your fur family! 🐾 ❤️

✨SOMETHING FUN! COMMENT BELOW HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN BRINGING YOUR FUR FAMILY TO KAMP?!

‼️Hello everyone! We’ve had lots of new visitors to the page and have many new campers scheduled to come see us this summer so just doing another little intro to who’s behind Kamp K-9! My name is Micah, this is my husband Christopher and our 2 year old, Camden. I opened Kamp K-9 in 2013 just after college graduation (it was being built my senior year) and we’ve been trucking along ever since! I worked at another local kennel for 5 years before opening my own and have loved dogs since before I could walk so this was just perfect for me! I love meeting new furry faces but especially love when they return (seriously I see some of yall every week! 🤣) and they are so excited to be back! We don’t have employees so you don’t have to worry about your fur family needing to get used to someone new every time they come, it’s just me 🙂 and Chris helping when he can. He’s a super busy guy though! Christopher is the office manager for Poor Boy Livestock Auction in Wister, OK and he is also a Real Estate agent for the Heritage Group. He’s ALSO the best auctioneer you’ll ever meet! If you’ve attended any fundraisers/charity events around here you’ve probably heard him talking fast, helping to raise money for various causes and individuals. We have a small herd of cattle of our own and a small herd of cats at our house. 😆 Camden loves Mickey Mouse and cows cows cows 🐮 and he’ll tell you that. ♥️ Just a fun fact about me: I love clothes & boutique shopping even though I can’t wear nice clothes around the pups 🤣 it’s fun to find those unique pieces (then 9/10 times if you see me out I’m just wearing a comfy lounge set🤣🤣—I’m tired by then yall lol.)
As we approach the start of Year 13, thank you to everyone who has trusted us over the years! We appreciate you immensely! I look forward to meeting all the new campers we have coming this summer! All is well at Kamp, the tornado warning was just southeast of us and we just got through checking on all the pups after the front line of the storm passed us. All good! 👍🏼 Have a great evening & stay safe if you’re still in the line of storms. 🙏🏼

Wanted to do a quick reminder that Ms. Maci’s Mobile Grooming is still available for small/medium dogs if you’d like to schedule a bath or groom service before you pick up the fur kiddos! She books up FAST with her in-home appointments so please book with her early if you’d like to add this on to your appt. She will not be able to accommodate if you don’t tell us until you’re dropping off! Thank you again for supporting BOTH of our small businesses! HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉

12/26: delayed opening 10am
NYD, 1/1/26: office closed

*as always will post if anything changes. & we are boarding on office closed dates, just no drop off/pickups on those posted dates.

**Please remember all drop offs and pickups are done by specific appt times. Also please stay aware of cancellation policies—an issue I’ve noticed this year is not being notified of an earlier pickup until you’ve dropped off—if this is the case, the total fee remains the same as it does not allow me enough time to fill an opening and is essentially a day-of cancellation. Thank you SO much for your understanding on this. Thank you for another great year! Looking forward to serving you again in 2025! 🎉

Hello December!!! Dates around Christmas are nearly booked up so get with me soon! The office is closed Dec 24th & 25th as well as New Year’s Day. We ARE boarding over those dates, just not open for drop off/pickup. Hope you all are having a great holiday season! 🦃🎄
