"After 36 wonderful years, we have officially closed our doors today on my 70th birthday. This place has been more than just a business to me, it’s been a second home, a labor of love, and a part of my identity. I’ve had the joy of watching kids grow up bringing in their first pets, and then return years later with children of their own. I’ve built friendships with customers, shared in their excitement, and mourned alongside them when they lost a beloved companion. But as times have changed and I have gotten older, I’ve realized it’s time to turn the page and embrace retirement. I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who supported the store over the years, you made it what it was, and I’ll carry the memories with me forever."
