Jewel had a visit with her friends at State Road Animal Hospital today 🐾
She had a small bump checked, and after a fine needle aspiration and cytology, it was confirmed to be a benign follicular cyst, such a relief that it’s nothing more serious.
She also had a few routine services done. While she isn’t the biggest fan of needles, she handled everything so well and was a very good girl for the team.
We always emphasize the importance of monitoring any new lumps or bumps and having them evaluated by your veterinarian, even when they turn out to be harmless like this one.
Jewel also got her flea, tick, and heartworm prevention refilled. With warmer weather here, parasites are already active, so now is the time to stay consistent with prevention.
And yes, she earned her pup cup for being brave 🤍
