Happy National Cat Day to my furballs!! This is the closest they have sat next to each other in 2 1/2 years!! I came home from work and they were sleep next to each other. 😻😻🥺😻😻

Please don’t use sticky traps. Below are some helpful tips on what to use instead.

I recently rescued the tiniest mouse from a sticky trap. The poor thing was unable to move and hearing the squeaks was so upsetting , I had to do something. After running warm water and dawn dish soap and cleaning the mouse, I was able to free him. He even was using his front paws to help clean itself . The trap was super super sticky which his back legs were hard to free. I hope the little guy lived, but my intention was there to help the little fella and not suffer.

Remember, if using oils and have pets, put in places they won’t be. (behind stove, attic, inside cabinets and drawers)

From Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center: Today is the 1st Day of Fall! 🍁 As temperatures start to get cooler, animals will seek shelter in non ideal locations. We understand that people don’t want mice, snakes, lizards..in their home. However, please NEVER use sticky traps or rodenticides. They are inhumane and the animal suffers a slow and painful death. Instead use live traps, ultrasonic repellers, and unpleasant scents. Just a friendly reminder that we share this planet with our animal friends.

Other humane options but not limited to the following:

*Peppermint Oil
*Steel Wool
*Rodent Repellent sprays sold online
*Irish Spring bars cut up
*Rolling Log Mouse Traps (no water)
*Catch & Release Mouse Traps
