Monty, formerly known as Buster, is officially HOME! 🏡❤️

This handsome boy has found his forever family, and we couldn’t be happier for him. A huge thank you to his amazing foster family for giving him a safe place to land, helping him settle in, and providing the foundation he needed while waiting for his people.

We are especially proud of Monty’s new family for starting this journey the right way, leading with training, structure, and commitment. That investment now will help set Monty up for a lifetime of success.

🚨 Please help us get Major out of boarding and back where he belongs… in a home. ❤️ Sharing is caring! If you can’t help, you might know someone who can.

Major is struggling. 💔 Boarding serves an important purpose, it allows us to save dogs from shelters, keep them safe, evaluate their needs, and learn what type of home will help them succeed. But it was never meant to be a permanent solution.

Major has been patient. He attends events, meets people, and puts his best paw forward every chance he gets. Yet somehow, he keeps getting passed by. The truth is that Major needs what every dog deserves: a home of his own, a consistent routine, and someone who will finally choose him.

Around 4 years old, Major came to us as a stray. In a home, he is a completely different dog. He’s calm, affectionate, enjoys his walks, loves his toys and bones, and is happiest just hanging out with his people.

Major is looking for a quiet, structured home where he can finally exhale. A place where he can settle into a routine, enjoy a comfy bed, and know that he is safe.

Crate training doesn’t have to be a battle.

Most dogs resist the kennel because it’s been introduced too fast or associated with something negative. The key is making the crate a place your dog chooses to go, not a place they’re forced into.

Watch how we work with Kellogg here. No forcing, no drama. Just clear communication, a calm reward, and patience. He walks in on his own and comes out just as calmly.

That’s what good crate training looks like. 🐾

A foster dog who came in with potential and left as a permanent family member. That is the outcome we work toward every single time.

When a dog arrives with big energy and no foundation, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. Most people are not lacking love for their dog. They are lacking the tools and the knowledge to help that dog reach what they are truly capable of.

That is the gap we fill.

One week of Board and Train. Foundational skills built. Communication established. A family who walked away confident and a dog who got to stay home for good.
