Formerly Drake… now living his best life as Hughie. 🥹

This little guy sat at the shelter for 9 long months. Through 2 failed adoptions, uncertainty, and heartbreak, the volunteers at Jackson never gave up on him. They rallied hard for this boy and made sure he always felt loved while waiting for his person.

When Hughie needed rescue, our village stepped up. A huge thank you to Lauren and Howard for sponsoring his training. Hughie became an absolute superstar with Lauraine and her team at K9 Connections, LLC! Watching him gain confidence, learn, and truly start to shine was so special to see. 🌟

Today, all of that love, teamwork, patience, and dedication paid off because Hughie finally found the home he deserved all along. His new mom saw how special he is and chose him despite the bumps in his journey. That means everything.

This is exactly why we do rescue. The volunteers, the trainers, the sponsors, the supporters, the adopters… it truly takes a village.
