This dynamic duo are still waiting for their final forever home. This senior mother and son aren't made for the shelter life. It has been incredibly stressful transitioning from a home since birth to the shelter due to uncontrollable circumstances. If you can find some space in your home and your heart, Denver and Dak will not disappoint.
If you are not able to give them their forever home, do you have space to foster! Contact our foster program and inquire today. You can give them a comfy home to temporarily stay until someone has the space in their heart to adopt. Fostering saves lives and relieves these two from the stressful noisy shelter life.

Fostering Saves Lives. Learn about Momma's story here. Not only do we have feline friends that need fostering, are canine friends would enjoy it as well. City of Allen Animal Shelter looking for shepherd lovers. These two don't have to go together, but we are looking for experienced German Shepherd fanatics to adopt. These babies are ready to snuggle on your couch or run the fields. The shelter is open and waiting for visitors.

National Police Woman Day 🚨 is celebrated each year on September 12. The day acknowledges and celebrates the contribution of female officers who enforce law and order around the country. Today, only roughly 10% of the police force in the United States is made up of women. National Police Woman Day hopes to rectify that by encouraging more women to join the service.
In Animal Services, we also encourage recruitment of Women into this specialized field of law enforcement. We are hiring, and if you are interested, head on over to the application and start the process. 👩‍✈️
