June’s been keeping a close eye on Sam and the rest of the team, especially when they try to work without petting her first.

We overheard her telling Sam: “Your pipetting form is good, but your chin-scratching technique still needs improvement.”

Needless to say, performance reviews are ongoing.😼

📢📢BREAKING NEWS: After months of closely monitoring our lab equipment, June has officially been promoted to Lab Supervisor!

Her duties include:
🔎Inspecting all test tubes (by staring at them)
🥼Supervising technicians (mostly by sitting on their paperwork)
⏰Enforcing break time cuddles

Dear incredible community,

We need to talk… about Zoey. This beautiful, 1-year-old Shepherd mix has been at the shelter since December, and every single day we ask ourselves the same heartbreaking question: Why is she still here?

Zoey is the full package — playful, smart, affectionate, and social. She adores other dogs and has shared her kennel with several buddies, including her current roommate, Ta**us. She thrives in playgroups and lights up when she’s around friends. She’s a quick learner too — already mastering SIT, SHAKE, DOWN, and MINE.

When the zoomies are over, Zoey is all about the snuggles. She melts into affection and loves being close. And have you seen her? She’s absolutely stunning — but her true beauty shines from within.

Day after day, Zoey watches as her friends leave for forever homes, while she remains in the kennel she’s come to know as “home.” It breaks our hearts — because we know she deserves more. She deserves a real home. A person to wait for by the door. A couch to cuddle on. A heart to love her completely.

May is Arthritis Awareness Month and our furry friends aren't immune to joint pain. In fact, arthritis is more common in pets than you might think!

Does your pet show any of these signs?
❓Slowing down on walks
❓Trouble getting up or climbing stairs
❓Limping or stiffness, especially after rest
❓Reluctance to jump or play
❓Behavioral changes like irritability or withdrawal
