πŸŒ€People have been asking when picking up at the lot what the other horses in the pens are & why they don’t get put on our page. They’re direct ship horses so we thought we would try posting a few with each load on here to see if they can get a soft landing & a 2nd chance at a furever home 🫢🏼

🏷️Tag #3737 – 3 year old Standardbred Gelding – roach backed

🏷️Tag #3738 – Grey Gelding – is wearing a halter, but doesn’t lead very good – project type

🏷️Tag #3739 – 2 year old Standardbred Gelding – front left leg is crooked (possibly a birth defect) – still travels good on it

🏷️Tag #3740 – Grey mare – branded – she’s hard to catch but does lead around once caught

Due to ongoing concerns surrounding New World Screwworm, the USDA has halted livestock movement through southern border ports, including horses. This means horses cannot currently be shipped through the normal export pipeline to slaughter facilities in Mexico.

π™Žπ™€π™ͺπ™©π™π™šπ™§π™£ π™ˆπ™žπ™˜π™π™žπ™œπ™–π™£ π™†π™žπ™‘π™‘ π™‹π™šπ™£ π™ƒπ™€π™§π™¨π™šπ™¨ will continue operating like normal. As of right now, the border into Canada is still open, so we are still able to ship horses.

We will continue monitoring this situation and sharing updates as more information becomes available.
