我々の Aiken Member のMr. Hirofumi Goto （日本在住）
の愛犬、アポロ14歳4ヶ月でレインボーヘブンに行きました。

　後藤さんとアポロは、家族二人暮らしで、毎日の散歩、　　会社にも、ほぼ毎日同行、そして休みの日は、共に山登り、
　まさに、山男と山犬との仲間で、14年間の共同生活、

その相棒を亡くされた、後藤さんの気持ちは、僕も3年前に
亡くした、Jolie 10歳のことを思い出だし今朝からアポロの
写真を見るたびに涙の連続、、、

　犬の寿命は、人間の寿命と比較すると、5ー6分の1で、
　だから、その愛犬との楽しさ、絆を深く、深く、持つ
　ことで、その楽しい思い出で、今の辛さ、寂しさを少し
　でも、和らげることができることを心より、祈っており
　ます。

Mr. Hirofumi Goto, one of our Aiken members who resides in Japan, has sadly said goodbye to his beloved dog, Apollo, who passed away at the age of 14 years and 4 months and has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Mr. Goto and Apollo lived together as a family of two. They took walks together every day, Apollo accompanied him to work almost daily, and on holidays, they would go mountain climbing together. They truly shared a bond like that of a mountain man and his mountain dog—14 years of a life lived side by side.

Having lost his faithful companion, Mr. Goto must be feeling an overwhelming sense of grief. It reminds me of my own loss three years ago when my dog Jolie passed away at the age of 10. Since this morning, I’ve found myself in tears every time I see a photo of Apollo.

A dog’s lifespan is only about one-fifth or one-sixth of a human’s. That is why the joy, the bond, and the deep connection we share with them during that limited time becomes even more precious. I sincerely hope that those beautiful memories will help ease Mr. Goto’s pain and loneliness, even if just a little.

I kindly ask all our members to offer him a few words of encouragement and support.

Aiken Dog Training

We are a family owned business that started in 2010. In our 9 years of business, we trained more than 700 dogs within the Orange and LA County area and now The Globally in Basic Obedience, Problem Solving and Behavior Modification for various breeds. Also we structure Multi-Breed "Pack Walks" for our various clients at local parks to create a sense of community and to reinforce the training techniques our clients learned through our training programs.

When we are not training and working with our clients we are heavily involved in our local communities and volunteer programs. Our most recognized volunteer services include organizing a Pet Therapy Program, where our certified dogs visit nursing homes and libraries for children's reading groups.

As we have cared for so many dogs and families we look forward to working with your dog as we understand how important a relationship with your dog can be. They are not just a pet, they are a member of the family and need love and care like anyone.
