🔸 SUNDAY HUNTING APPROVED BY HOUSE 🔸

BIG NEWS out of Harrisburg — Yesterday, June 11, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives approved House Bill 1431, sponsored by Rep. Mandy Steele, D-Allegheny, to fully repeal the Sunday hunting ban.

The bill passed the House by a vote of 131-72 and now heads to the Senate for consideration.

This bill is identical to Senate Bill 67, introduced in March by Senator Dan Laughlin, R-Erie.

The Game Commission supports both bills, either of which would end the state’s prohibition on Sunday hunting and allow the Game Commission to include Sundays when establishing hunting seasons annually.
