🍪 Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪
While we’re all enjoying those gooey, sweet treats today, don’t forget — chocolate is toxic to pets! 🐶🐱

Even small amounts of chocolate can cause serious health problems in dogs and cats, including vomiting, diarrhea, rapid breathing, seizures, or worse. The darker the chocolate, the more dangerous it is!

Keep your cookies (and all chocolatey snacks) far out of paw’s reach.
✔ Store desserts securely
✔ Don’t leave cookies unattended
✔ Remind kids and guests not to share with pets

Let’s keep the chocolatey fun for the humans — and give our furry friends a safe treat of their own today! 🦴💛

🐾 A Day in the Life of a Vet Clinic Dog! 🐶💉

Hi, I’m Dustie your Premont official vet clinic greeter, treat tester, and all-around good Girl 🐕‍🦺

Here’s what my day looks like:

☀️ 7:45 AM – Arrive at the clinic, ready to clock in (after a quick belly rub, of course).
🐾 8:00 AM – Patrol the front desk for dropped snacks.
💌 9:00 AM – Greet patients with tail wags and a sniff.
🩺 11:00 AM – Supervising exams (aka laying nearby for emotional support).
🥪 12:30 PM – Lunch break… hoping someone shares theirs!
🧼 2:00 PM – Sneak in a quick nap behind the counter.
🦴 3:30 PM – Quality control: Taste-testing a new treat sample.
👋 5:00 PM – Say goodbye to the last patients of the day (with extra wiggles).
🌙 6:00 PM – Time to clock out and head home for a well-earned snooze.

It’s a ruff job, but someone’s gotta do it! 🐾💙

Today, we’re packing everything up and sending it off to help local pets in need — from cozy beds and tasty treats to much-needed food and supplies. Your kindness is making a real difference! 🐶🐱

We’re collecting donations for animals in Kerrville who need a little extra love and support 🐶🐱

🎁 Items needed:
• Pet food cat/dog (unopened bags/cans)
• Treats
• Towels & blankets
• Toys
• Leashes, collars, and harnesses
• Cleaning supplies

📍 Drop donations off at:
WVCA and WVCP from 8am to 5PM

Last day for donations will be on Thursday at 5PM
