We have a full-time opening at our Morris, MN location for a Product Support & Customer Service Representative. This role will entail working closely with clients and vendors and keeping accurate records of client communications.

Qualifications include but are not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel are required. Must be organized, able to muti-task, strong sense of customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills. They should have excellent attention to detail and able lift up to 30 lbs. QuickBooks is preferred, but not required.

Please welcome one of our new summer interns!

Molly Jones is a 3rd year Veterinary student at North Carolina State University. Molly was first introduced to the swine industry during her first year of college and has since chosen to pursue a career as a Swine Veterinarian. Over the past several summers, she has gained hands-on experience during a variety of research, production, and veterinary internships.

This summer, she is sponsored by Veterinary Pharmaceutical Solutions, and her projects will focus on identifying common challenges in administering water medications and developing practical solutions to help caretakers and producers medicate their barns effectively. Molly is excited to spend the summer with Suidae Health & Production and continue expanding her experience in the swine industry.

Meet Rylee Hundley, one of our veterinary interns for this summer.

Rylee recently graduated with a degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. This fall, she will begin a master’s program in Biomedical Sciences, with plans to enter veterinary school the following year. Throughout undergrad, Rylee gradually became involved in the industry through research opportunities and internships focused on swine health and management. This summer, her projects, sponsored by Zoetis, focus on evaluating the timing of specific vaccinations during a PRRS challenge and the relationship between vaccine immune response and iron administration.

Rylee is excited to spend the summer with Suidae Health and Production and gain hands-on experience across a variety of swine systems. We're excited to have her with us too!

Suidae Health & Production is looking for a veterinarian to serve independent pork producers across the Midwest. As a swine-exclusive veterinary practice with locations in Iowa and Minnesota, Suidae offers both veterinary and growing management and research services. Job Summary
This individual would work with the current vet team and Suidae staff to support all Suidae clients. Various areas of focus for this person include but not limited to herd health, production, biosecurity, staff training and education, research, and business development.

Essential duties & responsibilities include the following:
• Perform all Veterinary Services required or requested by clients
• Maintain all customer relationships
• Assist in the growth of new customers and relationships
• Engage with vendor and maintain relationships and communications
• Actively participate in industry leading conferences and meetings
• May include coordinating student intern’s experiences
• Aid in developing research protocols alongside the research team
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards team members, support staff and clients

Primary skills & knowledge include the following:
• Must be professional and self-motivated
• Maintain record keeping systems
• Travel including overnight stays
• Advanced organization skills & strong attention to details
• Strong sense of customer service & strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and trustworthy
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to multitask with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Use of Microsoft office applications
• Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required in Iowa or other states needed to serve client base.
