Such an understatement to say that we had a good time at the Jesse Woodhead freestyle clinic at Hilltop farm over the weekend. So freaking proud of the horses and SO EXCITED about their music and choreography. I LOVE all four. No neutral feelings over here! We are so happy!

I am resurrecting this page to be our activities announcements page. If there is somewhere we are going to be that you want help or support at, hit me up. I am always available for haul ins at Cain Lake Stables and virtual lessons.

March 23-24 Freestyle clinic at Hilltop with part of the party crew! Excited to participate in this fun event.

March 30 Teaching Friday Harbor. This day is full without wiggle room. For future Friday Harbor dates contact Tamara Green.

April 7 Schooling show at WEC (May WEC will be our first rated show this year).

April 20-21 Teaching Spokane. I believe this clinic is full at this time but runs a wait list and I go regularly to Spokane. Contact Helena Rouhe Beat or Reiko Hill Weigel for future dates.

Heidemann Dressage is proud to present “Tilo”, an outstanding black 10 year old (2012) 15.2hh KWPN gelding by the legendary Totilas, out of an Indoctro mare. This talented pocket rocket is currently ready to go down centerline at 3rd level, and schools all of the PSG (and more!) at home, and is gaining confidence daily- we have no doubts Tilo will be quite a competitive GP horse for the future.

Tilo has 3 excellent gaits (the walk is absolutely a 10, one of the best we have ever ridden!) and he is a handy, fun, forward thinking (but not hot) ride. Just like his sire, collection is a strength, and his piaffe/passage will be a highlight! Tilo can be ridden in a snaffle or a double, is perfect on trails and loves to hack out, and has extensive experience being ridden by an amateur – he was predominantly ridden by his AA owner, but health issues have unfortunately prompted his sale.

While Tilo does have quite a bit of education, he is NOT a schoolmaster. Tilo is a horse that truly tunes into and follows his rider, and would be best suited for someone who is fair, quiet, effective, and understands an independent seat/hands. The right fit will be of utmost importance for this sweet boy. He has been ridden by a jr/yr, and we think he would be an extremely exciting horse for NAYC!

Winter is always an adventure and the perfect time for us to get stuck in our head. I recommend this book constantly. Even if you don’t have fear issues, riding is 90% in your head. The better control over our minds the better we ride. This has been a favorite of mine for a long time and everyone I know who has read it has gotten a lot out of it. Highly recommend.

Hi guys. Heidemann Dressage is putting sales on pause for now so that we can focus on our passion which is development and education. Coming up in 2022 we will be offering some new programs for learning riders. As well as top training and competition opportunities for FEI riders.

As always we will be continuing to host clinics through out the year with auditors always welcome. I will have more availability for haul in and virtual lessons as well as some availability to travel for clinics. I already travel regularly to Vashon Island and Monroe and will be starting a few new groups in the new year.

We currently have an in barn half lease opportunity on a GP schoolmaster who is a genius at teaching changes and lateral work.

We have to decide now how we want to use the Heidemann dressage page for 2022. What would you guys like to see on here?

Heidemann Dressage is proud to present “Blueberry”, a fabulous 16.2hh, 2016 (5 year old) Zangersheide gelding who is ready to develop into your next super sporthorse and best friend!

Blueberry has 3 excellent gaits, with his canter being a highlight, and is a light, forward ride. He gives a nice feeling in the bridle, and is sensitive to the aids - he is honest and the best trier! Blueberry is schooling 1st level dressage, is an outstanding jumper, hacks out on the buckle, and is an absolute joy to have in the program.

Blueberry is sweet and as easy as they come to have in the barn - he is great for the farrier, turnout, cross ties, handling on the ground, trailer, etc. Blueberry is absolutely ammy friendly, and would be a super match for an AA or junior rider wanting a genuine, honest, and talented partner.
