We are saddened to announce the passing of our lead reception kitty, Nugget, to a hard-fought bout with cancer. Many of you may have met Nugget over the years, as she could be seen laying on keyboards and in front of computers in reception, inhibiting the humans from doing any work. She was often found checking her weight frequently, preventing many patients from approaching the front-of-house scale. Nugget came to us as well out of her kitten-hood, with a very distinct “smoker’s” meow, and a personality that can best be described as “sassy.” She was best known for her deadly fly catching abilities and her love of any open cardboard box. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.
