Hope everyone had a GREAT first week of school! I want to announce that Tiger's Paw is having their next mtg on August 16th at 6:30 pm at the Intermediate School in the library. Please SHARE this post and inform as many parents that you can to help make this a Great mtg. Since my daughter has moved over to high school as a 7th grader, I will no longer be President. We would love to keep this organization up and moving, but can only do so with other parents help. The election of NEW officers will take place at this mtg, so again, please help us make this a great mtg and pass the word on!!!! Thank you all!!!

Good Morning Tiger's Paw Group! Little update on what's going on with the Group. Last night we had an impromptu mtg between officers and discussed a few things. One being the Teachers Appreciation week - Tiger's Paw will be providing Breakfast on Monday, May 2nd for the teachers and custodial workers.

We will also be setting up Tiger's Paw table at Fun Fest on May 14th 5 p.m to 9 p.m. and will have a Special Tiger's Paw booth for all to participate! Kids can have their parents put in JAIL for various reasons "made me do homework" "dress not appropriate" "on phone too much" You get the gist. The parents may be released from JAIL for $1.00. With all the proceeds going to Tiger's Paw!!! So please come prepared to have fun with this new activity!

Since we resolved some issues that we going to discuss on the upcoming meeting for 4/20/16 - that meeting is NOW CANCELLED. Our next Tiger's Paw meeting is on the usual first Tuesday of the month, which is 5/3/16 at 6:30 p.m. Hope to see you there.

Hello everyone. First I would like to thank everyone that helped at the concession stand during Talent show, it was a great success!!! And great way to start off our Tiger's Paw Club. BTW, that's our NEW name, just haven't changed it yet.

Also want to let everyone know that Friday, March 18th, the Intermediate school will be having PJ day. As your remember... It will cost you $1 for each item you wear or bring. Example, PJs, robe, blanket and stuffed animal will be $4. Let's help raise money for t-shirts for Multiplication Madness and make this a great success as well. We have invited the Alexandria Fire Dept and Alexandria Police Dept to participate. And will be asking a few local businesses. PARENTS if you want to also participate, wear some pJs or a robe or even just bring a stuffed animal and come to the school and pay your money and help us in this fundraiser. Got to admit, what other opportunity will you be able to wear your PJs in public. Let's do this!!!! Thank you all.

Well the PTO meeting was super last night. Glad to see all the people that showed up and participated in the meeting. We voted to officially change PTO name to "Tiger's Den". Elected officials were chosen. I will post the names tomorrow. We will keep you updated on upcoming events for fund raisers for Tiger's Den and school activities. Thanks again to all who showed up and more posts to follow. 🙂🐯

PTO meeting scheduled for 3/1/16 @ 6:30 in the library. Spread the word, please. We really want to get this organization up and running. We have a lot of fun things in the process. Thanks everyone.

Ok parents... Due to a lack of participation or maybe just not enough parents were aware of the mtg... It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 9 @ 6:30. Please come and participate in the election of PTO officers so we can get this committee up and running. Thank you so much!

Good day, everyone. Wanted to let you know we are conducting a PTO meeting on Tuesday, February 2nd @ 6:00 pm. In the library at AMIS. This mtg will be for election of officers, so please, I encourage you to come and help us make the PTO a successful organization! Thank you all.
