🐾 Brave Boy Alert! 🐾
Today, Teddy began his first heartworm treatment, and we couldn’t be prouder of him! ❤️ He was such a trooper through it all — lots of snuggles, calm reassurance, and a few treats helped make it a little easier.

Heartworm treatment can be a long process, but it’s an important step toward getting Teddy back to full health and a happy, wagging tail. 🐶💪

Please keep this sweet boy in your thoughts as he continues his journey to recovery. 💕

Meet Fluffy the Vampire Slayer! She came in with some a**l gland issues but was such a brave girl during her treatment. After a little TLC, she's back at home. Fluffy is the sweetest cat and loves her butt scratches! 🐾❤️

This adorable guy came in with inflammation in both ears and was diagnosed with a bilateral ear infection. With the right medication and some TLC from our team, he's on the road to recovery!

Adoptable Hazel needs you to get those costumes ready! The Paws in the Park 2024 Costume Contest returns for a second year, and registration is open.

The costume contest, sponsored by PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic - Old Town, is open to everyone, and pre-registration is recommended. We will be awarding prizes for:

👻 Spookiest Costume
🤣 Funniest Costume
🎨Most Creative Costume
🏆Best in Show (chosen from winners of other three categories)

Registration is a $25 donation to the AWLA. Space is limited. Registration will be accepted the day-of the event if space allows. Humans are welcome to dress up with their animals, but it's not required.

No costume? No problem. If you'd like to participate but don't have a costume for your animal, we will have costumes available on site for you to choose from.

Each winner will receive a pet-themed basket filled with loads of goodies!
