St. Regis Falls Cat Palace has a cat spay/neuter clinic coming up (see the link for more details on their program and how to sign up).

This form is only for CATS that you can drop off in Massena around noon on Monday, August 3, 2026. Post-surgical pick up will be several hours later. Not SNN, but for anyone in Lewis County who is looking for spay/neuter help.

🐈‍⬛ DO YOU NEED A CAT NEUTERED? 🐈

THIS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY LAST CHANCE

Someone will be at the shelter from 8-7 everyday to sign up.

We have spay/neuter clinics here about twice a year, put on by FARVets.

✔️ $120 per cat.

That’s it! *Rabies and distemper* vaccinations included if needed, never any extra costs!

People always seem to wait until the last minute, and then we risk losing the clinics entirely.

We KNOW people need these services. We get multiple calls/messages daily begging us to take kittens. We know this is one of the cheapest services you’ll find. And it’s quick, no waiting months for a vet.

Cats/kittens must be at least 3 pounds, that is the only limit. We can do friendly, feral, kittens, adults, barn cats, etc.

**We currently have 17 male slots still available, the clinic is this Thu & Fri, July 23-24. You must come in ahead and fill out the paperwork & pay to reserve your slot.**

It is good to see so many organizations and our local veterinary clinics working together towards a common goal of helping in-need North Country animals and that our Rainey Fund was able to contribute towards these expenses (including necessary hazmat protection).

We have an upcoming weekend Hot Dog Fundraiser May 23rd and 24th 10am-2pm. Thanks Coakley Home and Hardware Canton for hosting us! We hope to see you there!

We may also have some kittens and cats on-site looking for forever homes from Kitten Pause TNR (Massena NY).

We are also looking for donations of individually wrapped baked goods (cookies, brownies, etc.) for this weekend's events. Please message us if you are interested!

Mailed applications seem to be taking extra long times to get to us lately. Just in case, you can also email applications for assistance in to [email protected]. A lot of people take photos of the application with their smartphone and email it in that way.

This sounds so awful. We've also reached out as our Rainey Fund may be able to provide some financial assistance on veterinary expenses or other needs for these cats. Rainey Fund is a Spay Neuter Now donation program to help fight against animal cruelty, neglect and abuse in the North Country.
