Cahaba Kennels We specialize in breeding, training and further developing top notch upland bird dogs. They are so fortunate now to be able to put their passion into practice!

We also provide service dog training which help dogs develop the skills and behavior needed to assist individuals with disabilities or other special needs. The owners of Cahaba Kennels, Gene and Villeta Linton, have always had a passion for dogs! Their goal is to produce outstanding upland bird hunt puppies, that are not only great family pets, but machines in the field when it comes to upland bir

d hunts. Even though they own GSPs, because of their versatility and personality, they train all breeds. Both are intimately involved in training and developing each dog. Gene received his Advanced Level HuntSmith Trainer Certification from Ronnie Smith Kennels, LLC in 2015. After establishing Cahaba Kennels and 4 years on his own, Gene was presented with the opportunity to serve as Kennel Manager at Five Star Preserve. He now manages the kennel and breeding program at this very prestigious private hunt preserve in Kellyton, Alabama.
