Busy week, but wanted to note that I had a great weekend at Zone 3 finals last weekend. Not showing - but shoring up one area of my judging weakness attending a excellent judging clinic on judging IEA & IHSA shows out on by Ellen Shevella, whose knowledge and perspective was so helpful - and fun!
She’s got two clinics coming up at Devon, one on Big Eq judging and the second on judging Pro riders.
They are for everyone - from people who are thinking about judging or just want to learn how judges do this. Plus - it’s Devon!

New deck, new furniture! Progress on the house continues. Next up - replacing the 40 year old insulation, power washing and painting the exterior. No more sad dark green.
More landscaping got done this week as new trees came in to replace some of the dead ones we had to cut down.
Happy to be here in Warrenton 🥰

Just got to the farm - sun is almost completely up. It’s 33 degrees!
And only October 9!!! Just too early to be wearing long underwear….
Thinking it’s going to be a chilly winter!
