Blue, it’s been an honor to know you, start you on your training journey, and watch you grow. You’re a great example of how amazing an Anatolian can be and I wish more people worked as hard as your people did with you. Thanks for trusting me, loving me with your whole heart, and always keeping me humble when we trained. I wish I could give you a squeeze and take you out on a birthday adventure today, but I’ll have to make up for it next time I see you. I love ya, budda. I hope you have the best day! 💙

Let me tell ya ‘bout my girl Violet…🐓

A lot of people assume chickens don’t have much personality or intelligence, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Every chicken in this little flock is friendly and social, but Violet is something special. She’s basically a dog in feathered form—and I love it. She follows me around during chores, watching closely and inspecting everything I do. The girl has standards, you know? She keeps me on my toes and quickly learned our routine of mealworms at “bedtime.” She marches straight to the bag, fixes me with a look, and waits expectantly for me to open it so she can stick her head in and help herself. 😂

I adore this silly little chicken and always look forward to spending time with her.

Big or small, feathered or furry—I care about them all. ❤️
