Unfortunately, this is going to be the first of a couple of devastating posts.
This sweet, sweet boy, Uno, who I’ve had the absolute privilege of knowing and grooming for nearly a decade, has been diagnosed with bone cancer and has been given a timeframe for the remainder of his time here with us. 💔
Uno is so much more than just a dog I’ve groomed over the years. He is a dog who helped shape me into the groomer I am today. He taught me patience, compassion, trust, and so much about the bond between a groomer and the pets we are lucky enough to care for.
He has also become one of my very best buddies, along with his incredible owner, and they have both been such a special part of my life and my journey as a groomer.
I am absolutely heartbroken knowing that our time together is becoming limited, but I am so incredibly grateful for every bath, every haircut, every hug, every goofy moment and every memory we’ve made over these last nearly ten years.
Uno, you have been so incredibly loved. And you always will be. ❤️🐾
