Special Care Grooming Our goal is to provide a comfortable, calm, and clean environment for your pet. Our professional staff believes in providing exceptional customer service.

Special Care Grooming is an upscale dog and cat grooming salon located in the Northeast Heights area of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, clean and calm environment for your pet and to ensure that we provide to you and your pet the quality services you both deserve. Our staff has a strong understanding of breed standard trims as well as the ability to style your pet in

any pet trim you request. Our staff is continually educating themselves on new techniques and styles by attending local classes and conferences countrywide. In addition, we have a Master Groomer (certified through the International Pet Groomers Association and the National Dog Groomers Association) on site. Our staff is trained in safe pet handling including being Red Cross certified in dog and cat First Aid/CPR. Finally, we strive to provide an environment, by scattering our appointment times, where your pets stay with us is only as long as necessary to help keep their stress level low. These are the many reasons why so many veterinarians in the area recommend our services to their customers.Our base groom price (based on the weight of your pet) always includes nail trimming and filing, ear hair pulling and ear flushing/cleaning, a**l sac expression, shampoo and conditioner and haircut (if not a bath and brush only). Also, we do not cage dry. In addition to the high quality shampoo and conditioner products we us, our hydrosurge bath system and our drying techniques provide for a cleaner pet and a high quality haircut,

Some of the additional services we offer include:-Skin treatments for itchy, dry and/or flaking skin-Flea and tick treatments-Hand stripping-Dematting-Treatment to reduce shedding-Teeth brushing-Nail polish application-Hair dye application

Any cancellation or reschedule
made less than 48 hours will
result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the
fee will be $20.00. If you are more than 10 minutes
late for your service or no show,
the appointment WILL be cancelled
and you will be charged a $65.00
cancellation fee. We require a credit card to hold
your appointment. Cancellation
fees will be charged to your card on file. We hope to become your pet grooming services business of choice and we look forward to hearing from you and welcome any questions or comments you may have. Visitors are welcome to take a tour of our salon.
