*Nana*

Nana is an 11-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 13.5 pounds — and trust us, this little lady proves that age is just a number! *Jerrie*
Jerrie is a nine-month-old female terrier mix, about 21 pounds of boundless energy and affection. Born in a shelter, she’s still learning what it means to live in a home and is progressing with gentle, positive guidance. Shy at first but warms up quickly with the offering of treats. She loves dogs of all sizes and would do well with a canine companion. She is a puppy, so close supervision and patient redirection are essential as she learns appropriate behavior. Jerrie is making strides with housebreaking, currently successful 98% of the time and is crate trained. Her high energy makes her a perfect match for an active family that can provide daily exercise, engaging play, and ongoing training. She loves toys, zoomies, and lots of interaction, and she’s sure to brighten every room she enters. Jerrie has a vocal alert—she’ll “say hello” or let you know when there’s activity outside the front window or loud noises—so a quiet apartment setting may not suit her. She adores belly rubs and cuddles, forming affectionate bonds with people who give her patience and structure. Regular brushing and grooming are a must to keep her coat healthy. She does have a curiosity towards cats, thinking they will be her friend. If you’re ready to provide a loving, active, and steady home, Jerrie is eager to meet you. Adoption fee is $225.00.

*Ceilo*
Ceilo is a two-year-old, 12-pound terrier mix with a big personality in a petite body. She’s young, athletic, and full of energy — the perfect walking, hiking, or running partner for someone who enjoys staying active.

After she’s had her exercise, Ceilo becomes the ultimate cuddle bug. She is incredibly affectionate and wants nothing more than to be close to her person — on your lap, beside you on the couch, or following you from room to room. She bonds deeply and is wonderfully devoted.

Because she loves so intensely, Ceilo thrives in a home with structure and confident leadership. She does have resource guarding behaviors, so she’ll do best with an experienced owner who understands how to manage and continue training in that area. With consistency and clear boundaries, she does very well.

Ceilo can do well around kids and other dogs as long as there is structure around her guarding tendencies. A calm, predictable environment helps her feel safe and successful.

She is still working on potty training and will need patience and routine as she transitions into her forever home. She’s smart and capable, and with positive reinforcement she will continue to grow.

Welcome to Downtown Doggie Daycare!
This is our downtown location run by my Mother - Autumn.

Downtown Doggie Daycare caters to small dogs only (but we do make exceptions). We take a limited number of dogs at a time so it's never overwhelming, and every dog gets love and attention all day long.
Dogs are free to roam as the yards at both of our locations are fenced/walled and safe. They are free to be on the bed, the couch or simply out in the sunshine napping.

We have also fostered for Lap Dog Rescue of NM for many years so are very knowledgeable about special needs dogs (anxiety, medical needs, elderly, blind, diabetes, short faced breeds like Frenchie's, etc.) And we never charge extra to administer medications, give treats or special diets.

Because we only take a limited amount of dogs at a time, we book up very quickly so please call us for a meet & greet.

We'll post a video of our uptown location soon (my place - I'm the daughter - Amy)

We sure hope you will consider us for your boarding needs - we can do just day visits while you're at work or a week or a month, etc. Whatever your needs are. We will send pics and videos to you daily to give you piece of mind your fur buddies are safe & loved and getting all of the attention they deserve.
