Bobina is visiting us at Catopia today! This cute and super friendly 3-month-old kitten from Albuquerque Animal Welfare needed both eyes removed because of bad infections and scarring. She is pain-free now but will need a few extra things in her new home. Blind cats are amazingly resilient and capable! They can live happy lives doing almost everything other cats do. Little Bobina would do best in a quieter home without dogs or small children. She LOVES being held and sitting with you. She would love a nice adult cat to help her navigate her indoor-only home. Tofu and Luna from are the cutest 7-month-old sisters! They are shy at first but very sweet once they get to know you. They are adoptable as a pair and will bring twice the happiness! 😺💙😺

This sweet and adorable kitten came to Albuquerque Animal Welfare with a bad upper respiratory infection. The clinic and foster took great care of her and she is healthy now. However, her eyes were too damaged so needed to be removed. She has healed from her spay/enucleation surgery and is ready to find the perfect home🏡 She really deserves the best! Blind kitties have some special needs but get around amazingly well. Contact us at [email protected] if you'd like to meet her and learn how to set things up for her. Pearl from Nine Lives Rescue NM was adopted!! Wonderful foster people helped her raise her kittens before she came to Catopia months ago. She was shy here at first and our vet tech recognized that she had a bad tooth causing her pain. Dr Martin of VCA Wyoming fixed her right up and cleaned the rest of her teeth. She blossomed when she wasn't in pain anymore and is such a sweet girl. She won over really nice people and they took her home just before Christmas. We are very happy for her and her new family. 🏡

Frog is looking for her forever home 🏡
This sweet 7-month-old female came to visit us for the day and we LOVE her! Albuquerque Animal Welfare rescued her and she has lived with a foster while they figured out which food works best for her. The veterinarians ruled out medical issues and her foster found the perfect food to keep her healthy and happy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
