Well, it's been a year. Right? 😥🥹 For us, it's been 2 years of loss and setbacks, unfortunately. 💔
When things stop you or get in the way of your dream, you gotta shake it off and find your own way forward. Correct?!
EEA is super excited to announce the addition of two more horses to our rescue herd. Meet Max and Sugar! Max is a registered Missouri Fox Trotter, and Sugar is a registered Paint Horse. They both found their way to us because they needed a job. They are both super sweet and snuggly horses! 🥰
Now, between the addition of Rosie and sweet Cowboy (our skeleton boy) finally getting cleared to go to work, and Pony Boy being the rockstar unicorn we need, we will now have 5 riding horses working again! Yay! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
If you are on our wait list, then you need to get in touch, preferably by email, to make sure you secure your spot! Email age, riding experience, and availability, please! But also know that we are not adding any more folks to the wait list until we get through all the names currently on the list! 😊
And look out in the fall for an Autumn Horsemanship Program! Plus we will continue to do homeschool field trips this fall as well! 🤓🤠🐴

🎉📢 Incredible things are happening at EEA!!!! Meet Rosie and Sugar! These two girls are going to be a part of our lesson program soon! Rosie is a 12 year old Quarter Horse, and Sugar is a 24 year old Paint mare. So far, everyone is getting along. Pony Boy loves having two girls around, and Cowboy does not care about anything! 🤣🦄
Both girls need saddles that fit them and a little time to figure out our process. I'm confident they will quickly learn how we do things. 🥰

Remember our skeleton boy?!?! Well, this sweet boy has been cleared to start riding soon! He still needs some muscle on his top line. So we're working on that on the ground. We need some hills! LOL 💪
I am so proud of him, and I am happy to brag about his progress! 🤠🦄 Today, he weighs 1,100 pounds!!!!!! He came to us at a little over 900 pounds. I was crying yesterday when I taped him. So proud. So excited. So happy for his future at EEA! 🐎🐴

I am proud to announce the newest member of the EEA herd! Meet Cowboy 🤠 He is a senior racehorse turned ranch horse. He came to us a skeleton. We were unsure he was even going to survive the rehab process. You could see what his body was screaming, and you could feel the sadness in his eye.
It has been a process for sure. I am eternally grateful that Pony Boy had Cowboy through our grief. I can't imagine if PB had been alone after losing Henri. 💔

Yesterday morning was amazing!!!! After years of work getting the NM horse industry on the map with Outdoor Recreation, it happened!!! mentioned horseback riding in her speech for Outdoor Recreation Day at the Roundhouse!!!! 🎉 I literally jumped up and down and cried a little!! 😂
So many years of work to get us recognized!!! We had a table with flyers from all kinds of NM horse businesses, we had mini horses from and as well as Poetry from 🥰🦄
It was a full day explaining to people what therapeutic riding actually is, asking people what outdoor equity means to them and meeting more outdoor educators! 🤠🐴🤓🥰
