Sometimes dirt, horse hair & dog slobber are just good for the soul.

And honestly? I stand by that.

Because there’s something wildly honest about a life that leaves marks on you.

Mud on your jeans from kneeling in a field.
Horse hair woven permanently into every layer you own.
Dog slobber across your cheek when you didn’t even realise you needed cheering up.

It’s not polished.
It’s not aesthetic.
It’s not “clean girl” energy.

It’s real.

It’s early mornings and cold hands.
It’s laughing when everything’s gone slightly wrong.
It’s a horse breathing into your chest.
It’s a dog that thinks you are the actual centre of the universe.

The world can be loud, shiny, filtered and exhausting.

But dirt?

Dirt is grounding.

Horse hair is proof you were close enough to connect.

Dog slobber is unconditional love with absolutely no boundaries whatsoever.

And sometimes that messy, chaotic, earthy kind of love
does more for your nervous system
than any perfectly curated day ever could.

So if you’re covered in mud and hay and wondering how this became your life…

It became your life because your soul feels safest here.
