I started out by selling reptile supplies online to fund my non-profit reptile rescue (www.BeautifulDragons.com) that I started in 1999. I decided to open a store in our town to not only offer reptile supplies, but to also give reptile advice, offer reptile services (f***l testing), and to help find good homes for the rescued reptiles. I also support some of the local reptile breeders in our area and you will often find reptiles for sale in the store from these breeders.

Shout out to Wayne who owns Absolute Computer Repair here in Albany. Many of you who have been in recently know that our register has been down for over a week. We had to specially order that touch screen register from a company who could not repair it and didn't even know what was wrong with it. So we reached out to Wayne and he had never worked on anything like this before but he figured it out and charged us way less than me figured. He's got us back up and running. So if you have a computer repair need give him a call!

Before and after photos.... It's crazy how much just adding a glass lid on a frog enclosure can really change the look of your terrarium. The whole top becomes a viewing area. Reptopia in Albany does custom glass lids and custom glass cutting.

As a small business owner in Albany I thought I'd give a shout out to a few awesome companies we've hired in the last year that we highly recommend and one company who was not so awesome.

First of all Reddstone Masonry. Amazing craftsmanship, honest, hard-working and delivers on his promises. Highly recommend 10/10.

Next is Corie Hinton Michaels. She's an amazing muralist in our area. She has completed 3/4 of our reptile mural and we would definitely hire her back. 10/10.

I also have to give a shout out to Rice Heating. They are always available, even in the heat of summer when they are extremely busy, they come running when we call. They replaced one of our rooftop air conditioning units and have very competitive pricing. We also chose them for our residential air conditioning needs and they far exceeded our expectations. 10/10.

And not to be negative but I do have to mention this. I'm not going to mention them by name, but they are the construction company that is located right next door to us. They damaged some of our brickwork and when we confronted them about it they denied it and said we had no proof. They were very unprofessional and dishonest. -100/10.
