At Impressive Cartwright Standards, we focus on health, temperament, grooming foundations, and early development through Puppy Culture based protocols. Our poodles go through extensive evaluation prior to becoming part of our breeding program. Priorities for Cartwright Poodles are AKC breeding standard structure, health testings, evaluation of pet, breeding or service dog prospect. The poodles are a part of our family from hanging out on the couch to playing in the fields. We at Cartwright Poodles are very passionate with our breeding program.

The Shepherd’s Love Litter | Growing, Exploring & Discovering!

Our seven precious blessings from Darci Lynn and Theodore are growing right before our eyes!

Born October 15, these little ones are now just over two weeks old, and we’re entering one of the most exciting stages of early puppy development!

As you can see in the video, they’re becoming more active, wiggling around, gathering together, and beginning to explore their surroundings.

What’s happening at this age?

• Their eyes are beginning to open, introducing them to a whole new world.

• Their hearing is developing, and they’ll soon become more aware of the sounds around them.

• Those tiny legs are getting stronger as they begin transitioning from crawling to their first wobbly steps.

• They’re continuing to grow, nurse, sleep, and develop rapidly.

At Impressive Cartwright Standards, we believe these early weeks matter. Every stage of development is an opportunity to provide a safe, nurturing environment that helps build the foundation for confident, well-adjusted companions.

And while they still have plenty of growing to do, it’s such a blessing to watch each little personality begin to emerge!

They may look like they're just sleeping, but there's so much happening in these earliest days!

Did you know that one of the ways we intentionally raise our puppies at Impressive Cartwright Standards is through Early Neurological Stimulation, also known as ENS?

Beginning on day 3 and continuing through day 16, we incorporate a brief, structured series of five gentle stimulation exercises into our puppies' daily care.

ENS is designed to introduce mild, controlled stimulation during an early developmental period. While research into its long term benefits is still developing, it is one of several ways we approach puppy development with intention and care.

And ENS is only the beginning! As our puppies grow, we gradually introduce age appropriate experiences, handling, sounds, grooming, and socialization to help prepare them for life beyond our home.

Because raising exceptional companions starts long before they meet their forever families.

🚨 BREAKING PUPPY NEWS! 🚨

A major investigation is underway at Impressive Cartwright Standards!

Seven hungry puppies have filed an official complaint after discovering their favorite all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet had mysteriously disappeared! 🍼🐩

Witnesses report that although the suspects are barely two weeks old, their tiny noses and developing ears led them straight to the scene.

After an extensive investigation, authorities located the missing buffet just a few feet away…

THE SUSPECT? Momma Darci.

HER EXCUSE? “I was just trying to eat MY breakfast!” 😂

Unfortunately, the seven hungry investigators were not accepting excuses.

CASE CLOSED. MOMMA, YOU ARE BREAKFAST! 🐾

BREAKING NEWS: The Milk Bar Has Disappeared!

We have a situation in the nursery!

Mama Darci decided it was time for HER dinner, so she got up and headed to her food bowl.

Unfortunately, she forgot to notify her seven very hungry customers that the milk bar was temporarily CLOSED!

And judging by all the wiggling, searching, and confusion, the customers were NOT pleased with this unexpected interruption in service!

Apparently, nobody explained to these little blessings that Mama needs to eat too!

Just another day of motherhood here at Impressive Cartwright Standards!

🐾🧡MEET JOSHUA | THE SHEPHERD’S LOVE LITTER 🧡🐾

A little boy with a beautiful coat and a name rooted in faith!

Introducing Joshua, one of our handsome little gentlemen from Darci Lynn and Theodore’s Shepherd’s Love Litter, born October 15, 2026! 🐩

Joshua is a striking phantom Standard Poodle, sporting a beautiful black coat with contrasting tan and cream markings. He’s already showing off some of the gorgeous coloring we love in his daddy, Theodore!

📖 The Meaning Behind His Name

John 10:9 (KJV)
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

In Scripture, Joshua was chosen to lead God’s people into the Promised Land. His name means “The LORD is salvation.”

We chose Joshua’s registered name to reflect Jesus’ words in John 10:9, reminding us that Christ is the door through which we find salvation, safety, and belonging.

What a beautiful reminder of the Good Shepherd’s love!

🐾 A Little About Joshua

At just 11 days old, Joshua’s days are filled with nursing, sleeping, growing, and receiving the gentle early neurological stimulation and sensory experiences that are part of our intentional puppy raising program.

We can’t wait to watch his little personality unfold over the coming weeks!

🖤 From a Kentucky country girl to a New York City girl! 🗽🐾

Our sweet Magdalene, now known as Onyx, is officially 6 months old!

From the quiet countryside of Kentucky to the busy streets of NYC, this little lady is living her best life! She’s full of sass, overflowing with snuggles, and apparently still convinced she’s a Baby Shark! 😂🦈

One of the greatest joys of raising our puppies is watching them grow, thrive, and become such treasured members of their families.

Once a Cartwright puppy, always a part of our family. 💛

🍂☀️ A Little Sunshine & Seven Little Blessings 🐩🤎

There is just something about a peaceful fall morning, warm sunshine, and a pile of precious little puppies that makes you want time to stand still.

At just over a week old, Darci and Theo’s seven little blessings have the sweetest routine. Eat, sleep, snuggle, repeat. And yesterday, they got to enjoy a little autumn sunshine along the way. 🍁

No worries. No responsibilities. Just full bellies, tiny paws, and the comfort of being surrounded by love.

These are the little moments that remind us just how blessed we are to do what we do.

Before long, these tiny paws will be running through the homes of seven very special families. But for now, we’re soaking up every precious moment. 🤎

Meet Rachel | The Shepherd’s Love Litter

Some of God’s sweetest blessings come wrapped in the tiniest packages. And this little girl is certainly one of them!

Introducing Cartwright’s Rachel Known by the Shepherd, affectionately known as Rachel! 🐾

Rachel is our third precious blessing from Darci Lynn and Theodore’s Shepherd’s Love Litter, born October 15, 2026.

Dressed in a beautiful, soft apricot coat with warm golden tones, Rachel is already a lovely little reminder of just how wonderfully God creates each life.

In Scripture, Rachel’s name means “ewe,” or female sheep, making her name especially meaningful for our Shepherd’s Love Litter.

“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” — John 10:14 (KJV)

What a beautiful promise! In a world where it is so easy to feel overlooked, our Good Shepherd knows each of His own. Not simply as part of a flock, but individually, personally, and lovingly.

Our prayer for sweet Rachel is that her future family will always be reminded of that precious truth. We are never forgotten, never overlooked, and never beyond the loving care of our Shepherd.

Apparently, Mama Darci’s Milk Bar has a VERY satisfied customer this morning! 😂🐩

Breakfast was going great until one little gentleman decided he’d had enough, rolled over on Mama’s leg, and promptly passed out.

No complaints. No regrets. Just a full belly and absolutely ZERO intentions of moving.

Someone may need to cut this customer off tomorrow morning! 🍼🤣

Who else wishes they could eat breakfast and immediately go back to sleep?
