LEARN TO RIDE!

The last few years have found us switching gears, focusing more on horse training, performance liberty, and virtual coaching for those wanting to get into the performance liberty field.

However, we have never completely stopped giving riding lessons. Today, I am excited to announce that we will again be adding riding lessons to our offerings with my Assistant Trainer/Intern during a limited number of available lesson times each week within a semi-private lesson format as previously provided.

Totally in tears today because we received such a beautiful and very unexpected gift from friends today....and I emphasize friends. Many of my clients over the years have become close friends...and I am proud to have them in my life. Thank you Laura Charlet, Matt, and Gwen! Seriously, we had more tears again when we went inside for lunch later on. ❤❤

Mustang 0084 got his neck tag off last night (Day 3 of 100 days). He will soon be named, although he will be auctioned off by the Mustang Heritage Foundation and the end of the Extreme Mustang Makeover in Fort Worth, TX this September. The EMM is a very notorious event to test your horse skills against others. You get 100 days to gentle and train a wild Mustang and compete.

Burying overhead electrical lines underway with Westfall Electric, Inc. as we are prepping for trailers to turn around/park etc for upcoming clinics. Without burying these, we couldn't drive anything tall into the back yard. We're also in the process of widening the gate and putting in outdoor horse stalls.

This is a photographic journey through the Theodore Roosevelt National Park covering horses and other wildlife! Readers will learn about the dynamics of a wild horse herd, likely locations of horses, and much information about bison and other animals that share the habitat with the horses. The book is written in a conversational style and suitable for readers 10 years and older. Approximately 150 photos are included.

Compulsories completed in the Invitational ILHA liberty competition. We will post results as soon as we have them. The freestyle will be Saturday morning. Lots of horses running to the gate, including Dalton. But he was able to come back and get that connection and finish the pattern.

4 more weeks until we compete at the invitation-only ILHA Liberty Freestyle Competition at Equine Affaire in Ohio.

It's official! Magica is going on the road! Magica (2017 NDBH Mare out of Thunder x Taylor), her friend Dalton (registered Paint) , and I have been invited to compete (invitation-only) with the International Liberty Horse Association at Equine Affaire in Ohio this April in a freestyle liberty performance with the two. We're very excited for this opportunity that was what I consider an early milestone in our competition, training, and performance goals. We managed to obtain a spot in the event and couldn't be more happy with the chance to show what these North Dakota Badlands Horses can do (to be fair...Dalton is a Paint and he's half of the mix...lol).

So watch for updates as we prepare for the Spring Equine Affaire!
