Holly was excited for her vegan scent trail hunt today 👃🌱🐶

What I love most about watching Holly work is that she doesn't rush.

She takes her time.

Back and forth.Checking and rechecking.Following the scent with quiet determination.

There's no race to the finish.

Just a dog doing exactly what dogs were designed to do — using her nose to explore, investigate, and discover.

And judging by that wagging tail, Holly would say the hunt was well worth it 💚🐾

Today was Rocky's very first snuffle mat scent trail with us.

And he took his time in the very best of ways 👃🐶

No rushing. No frantic searching.

Just a thoughtful, determined hunt.

Today, Rocky became Rocky the Truffle Hunter.

His joy was so contagious that I had to stop filming because I was laughing too hard 🤣💚

Watching a dog discover the fun of using their nose, solving problems, and finding success is one of the best parts of enrichment.

Great job, Rocky!

Today is Day 2 of Brutus' scent trail work, and I can already see the difference.

His hunt is more determined.
More focused.
Less frenetic.

He's not just searching.
He's tracking.

This is one of the beautiful benefits of scent work.

As dogs engage their nose, we often see a compounding nervous system response over time:

✨ calmer
✨ more grounded
✨ more focused

The goal isn't just finding the treat.

It's helping dogs tap into their natural instincts in a way that supports confidence, regulation, and fulfillment.

Today, Brutus wasn't just following a scent trail.

JoeJoe doesn't care that the snuffle mats are bigger than he is.

Because in his mind, he is the small but mighty hunter.

Just a few minutes after their Yummy Enrichment Scent Trail session, our Monday pack was blissfully asleep.

And Buster?

Buster was so tired he didn't even make it to his bed.

His bed was just a few feet away... but apparently the floor arrived first 😆

That's the power of mental enrichment.

Scent trails encourage dogs to:

✔️ build confidence

Buster entered the Land of Yummy Enrichment and absolutely understood the assignment 😆🐶

In fact, we're fairly certain he had a strategy session with Jaye before arriving.

Nose down. Treat by treat. Methodical and focused.

He worked his snuffle mat with surprising precision, following a plan that looked remarkably familiar.

Coincidence?

We think not. 😏

Whether he learned from watching, listening, or simply taking notes from the experts, Buster showed up and showed out.

The student may be becoming the master 💚🐾
