Hello Everyone!

We are looking for anyone who has taken in one of the puppies that were given away in the Walmart parking lot. We have recently had one given to us and she is handful. The vet estimated that she is around 6weeks and should still be with her littermates. We are hoping to find someone who has one of her littermates and is willing to set up some playdates with her. We are having difficultly with her as we do not have another puppy her size for her to learn and play with. This means that it will be hard to teach her that the biting/nipping hurts and how to properly interact with other dogs.

Please pm us if you have one of her littermates and would like to set up a playdate.
If you need advice or more information on the breed and how to socialize the puppy(ies), please feel free to ask! It is important that anyone with one of these puppies have all the information needed to raise them.

UPDATE: Zoe has passed away and Lucy has found a home

FOSTER NEEDED!!!!!

Here are our beautiful senior pair, Lucy and Zoe!!!
Lucy and Zoe are sweet 12yr old, senior girls. They are a bonded pair and must stay together. Zoe and Lucy are a very sweet and vocal pair. They love people and getting attention. They will need to have a very loving foster/adoptive family with a fence height minimum of 3-4ft. They are good with other dogs. When Lucy and Zoe came to us, Zoe was healing from having a large (volleyball sized) 20lb mass removed from her left side. Zoe healed and was doing really well, but unfortunately the mass has grown back and she may have to go through another surgery to have the mass removed again. Any donations for these sweet girls is highly appreciated.

If you are interested/willing to foster or adopt this sweet pair, please fill out an application on our website: https://www.nmsiberianrescue.com/
If you would like to learn more about how you can help Zoe and Lucy, or would just like to learn more about the pair, please contact Shirley, at (575)491-9577.

Parvo positive Huskies. Please help us take care of these two beautiful pups. Both pups are 5 months old, came from Chaparral NM to the shelter as owner surrenders with no shots about 1-14 days ago. The Shelter gave parvo/distemper shots on arrival, but it was too late for them. They deserve a chance to live a happy life. Please help us to save them. They are currently at Leslie Vet Clinic in Alamogordo. Donations - in any amount are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

Update: Rudi has started to get better and with going home to his foster home! Heidi’s condition has continued to worsen, she will continue to stay with the veterinarians for her condition to improve.
