Jax looking extra festive totally stealing our hearts (like he always does 🥰). He’s been one of our longtime daycare, lodging, and grooming kiddos, and watching him grow up with us has been the sweetest best thing ever.

We seriously adore this little guy and feel so lucky to love on him like he’s one of our own. 💛🐶

💔 Our hearts are heavy today.

Jasper belongs to a longtime client of mine who was in a terrible car accident and sadly is not going to make it. She loved him deeply, and through no fault of his own, Jasper has been left without his person.

Forever Homes Animal Rescue has stepped in and taken Jasper under their care. Their goal is to get him placed in a loving foster home, and eventually adopted. He needs a dental cleaning and updated vaccines, and they’re working hard to cover his expenses.

Let’s make sure Jasper is taken care of the way his mom would have wanted. 🐾💙

We got a message today asking if we could help Jasper. Jasper was on a protective custody hold at our city animal control because he was in an accident with his owner on the 13th and his owner was in ICU and unfortunately not coming home from the hospital. We need just a little help to get Jaspers teeth cleaned and shots updated. Do you think you can help? We want to make sure Jasper is taken care of for his mom. We just need to raise $250 to cover his dental and update his shots. That’s just 10 $25 sponsors. If you can send $25 or $50 his way we would really appreciate it. And hopefully his mom can pass peacefully knowing Jasper is taken care of. Thank you for donating and thank you for sharing.

As we welcome 2026, I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported Desert Paws. Whether you’ve been w/ us for years, found us recently, or shared our name w/ a friend I truly appreciate you.

Running a busy, hands-on shop keeps us focused on caring for the dogs day to day and leaves little time for social media — even though we don’t always post or share, your trust, loyalty, and support never go unnoticed. 🐾

It’s been a while since we’ve posted. between the end of the school year and the kickoff to summer, things have been busy around here! We wanted to take a moment to share some of the highlights and excitement from the past couple of months.

We recently threw a little party for the SPED Work Study program, and we’re thrilled to have one of our graduates, Abby, working with us this summer! 🎓We also have Olivia, who’s going into her senior year, lending a hand. 💪
And for those of y’all who know Bri, we’re excited to announce she’s back from college to help for the summer too!

Devan, our right-hand gal and main assistant, will be continuing her grooming training with help from all the amazing summer girls. And of course, Kim with Doggie Stylze, our other rockstar groomer(literally) is always a huge support with training and behind the scenes magic.

Desert Paws wouldn’t be what it is without this crew of hard-working women. 💕 This business is truly built on strong, caring hands! every one of these ladies goes above and beyond, not just for the pups, but for their mamas and daddies too.

Let’s not forget the two behind the scenes—the moms! My mom and Kim’s mom are our trusty bathers, our cheerleaders, and honestly, the glue that keeps the wheels turning. They work just as hard and love these dogs just as much as we do!

We’re going to try to post updates more regularly (we promise!), but if life gets busy again, we’ll be back in a few months with more photos, stories, and hopefully something fun to WOW y’all with!

It really takes a village—and ours is full of love (and fur)! Thanks for being part of our Desert Paws family. We appreciate you all!
