From fireworks and hot weather to sneaky toxic foods at the cookout, there are a few holiday hazards that can turn an exciting weekend into an emergency visit real quick. 😅

A few reminders from your favorite neighborhood vet team:
✨ Keep pets cool & hydrated
✨ Skip the table scraps
✨ Make sure microchip info is up to date
✨ Keep anxious pets safe indoors during fireworks

And PLEASE — never leave pets in the car. Not even “just for a minute.” ☀️🚗

This week is National Veterinary Receptionist Week! We want to give a huge shoutout and celebrate our receptionists at Alameda Pet Hospital all week long. They are so much more than 'just' receptionist, they are Master Multitaskers, Chaos Coordinators, and Client Champions. They recognize you as your walking in the hospital and greet everyone with smiles no matter the situation they are dealing with behind the scenes. All four of our veterinary receptionists Ken, Jose, Beck, and Russell are the first faces you see in this hospital; keeping thing running smoothly and managing those Doctor's schedules.
We'd love if everyone would join us in giving them a big shoutout and recognizing all the work they do everyday for us all. Thank you for everything you do and Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week!
