FAAS’s mission is to shelter and care for abandoned companion animals, find them new homes, and prevent animal cruelty through education and outreach. Through a unique public-private partnership, FAAS has managed the open-intake City of Alameda Animal Shelter since 2012. With innovative programs, community partnerships, and a passionate base of volunteers and donors, each year FAAS saves on averag

Oh, to be a puppy lounging in the sun! ☀️ Ziva, Zane, and Zeke are three delightful 10-week-old puppies, each looking for their forever family. Zeke is the confident brainy one who loves to play- and would play ALL day if he could. Zane is the playful adventurer with a surprising gentle side. Ziva is our tiny but mighty sweetie who loves cuddles. These pups are learning so much every day and are ready to fill your home with wiggles and puppy kisses. 🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

This precious little girl just came into the shelter and she’s far too young to be here! She needs a loving foster home ASAP where she can safely grow and thrive.

* She’s currently transitioning from milk to wet food and eats a soft slurry.
* We will provide all the supplies you need – food, bedding, bottles, anything!
* She just needs a safe, warm place and someone to love her until she’s big enough.

Time is critical – shelters are no place for babies this small. If you’ve got the heart and space to help, please reach out immediately!
