Second crop hay, 12.7 acres/hour cut speed, 51.05 acres. 25 days since 1st cutting and only irrigated once, thankful for the rain. Now to get it put up b4 rain chance on Friday 🤦🏼

51.97 acres of alfalfa, orchard grass, and Timothy cut and drying. Lots of small squares out there. 68 acres left to cut.

One of the most decorated mares in North America, we are sad to announce the passing of Alamar HR Tatum- she came into the show world as a yrlg and started turning heads. We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to purchase her in 2023 where she was reserve supreme champion at the world show in Brandon, National Clydesdale Show and the North American Clyde/ Shire show. And qualified for the halter series finals that year as well. She truly was an outstanding mare with unbelievable confirmation. A sweetheart in the barn. We were fortunate enough to make some embryos from her (2 fillies on the ground) and more possibilities still frozen. To have a horse like this is unthinkable ( Alamar Acres) bred her and made her available for the rest of the Clydesdale breed to appreciate her. And to be able to own a horse of this caliber doesn’t happen everyday. To say the weather has been gray and drizzly this weekend is an understatement.
RIP Tatum (this really hurts)

She was our barn princess for sure !! 💔❤️‍🩹

We couldn’t be more pleased/thankful/blessed/appreciative/overwhelmed that:

2. That we have the tremendous opportunity to tell everyone “He’s our Hitch driver/manger/breeding extraordinaire!!

Taking home the red in Ainsworth Electric/Beddow Clydesdales weight lose challenge. Guess 3 dollars should buy me some crackers to get by with. Eric Reisinger took home all the money. Dustin Barthel Stacie, Braxton and others.
