We have been itching since spring sales and repro work to get back out in the ring - so we finally made it out to a local show! Considering the entire string but one had never ventured off the farm before - we were pleasantly surprised with the results!

💎 BLAC SILHOUETTE 💎
2M Boer Goats River Rat *ENN x RMA2 Ember

After a 4x OVERALL GRAND CHAMPION FB Doe weekend sweep at the Henry County Fair ABGA Open Shows- we felt it was time to give more background on our latest donor!

SILHOUETTE is the product of a split flush between 4MK Boer Goats (or even more so) Kenzie’s doe RMA2 Ember and our newest herdsire at the time, 2M Boer Goats River Rat. The flush was performed in December of 23’ with both parents going on to reach their highest achievements AFTER the kids hit the ground that May - Ember winning Reserve Overall Champion FB Doe at the 24’ Illinois State Fair and River Rat siring the 24’ JABGA National Reserve Champion FB Doe!

Fast forward to this spring… we had decided to offer our only offspring of the flush, Silhouette, to the public in hopes of her reaching the national show stage. As fate would have it, she was worth more to us than anyone else come sale day and the Kraft family offered to take her for the summer to help towards their doe Ember’s ennoblement.

And SILHOUETTE has only bloomed since her 5th place finish at nationals! Which made us all incredibly proud as her birthdate made her the youngest of 34 entries. But as Chad put it “she’s got A LOT of gas left in the tank.”

ALL that being said, we are blessed to have friends like the Krafts to collaborate and enjoy the industry with! Thank you ❤️
