Is my 5 month old Thoroughbred c**t about the exact same size as my yearling Connemara? Yes yes he is 😂 But look how cute they all are in their blankies! Ok the Connemara yearling totally doesn’t NEED a blankie yet but no better time to learn about them than now.

My gorgeous boy is 5 months! He looks black this time of year and his showing some of his mama’s roan spots!

So proud of yearling Gigi (DHF A Good Gamble) this week! This was my very first experience doing the Future Event Horse stuff with a yearling. I technically have 3 right now but only enough hands to take one so the other two will aim for other options. Gigi was super well behaved even if she was a little boingy while trotting 😂 She ended up coming in 1st out of 4 (1 other yearling, a 2yr old and a 3yr old) with an 81.6! For anyone that doesn’t know this is my beloved mare Noni’s last foal by Connemara Stallion Coud Poker Tartifume. I can’t wait for this girls future!

When your baby horse was apparently born broke to be an eventer. This is Gigi (DHF A Good Gamble) Noni’s last baby by Connemara stallion Coud Poker Tartifume. She’s a yearling this year and this was her first time leaving the farm since she came home from the vet as a baby. She loaded right up (we did practice this once a few months ago) tied to the trailer with kit, did some logs and water and ditches, got hosed off and hopped back on the trailer to go home. Easiest child I’ve ever had 😂 And yes she IS catching up to Kit who is 15.2 rather quickly! honorable mention to the perfect KitKat for her quiet calm leadership 🥰 KitKat is also a homebred out of my late TB mare Hidden Agenda by the Connemara Stallion Gunsmoke! Thanks Natalie Li for coming with to babysit us and take video evidence!!

New girl says fly masks are dumb even tho they protect my pink skin 🙄. I have decided on the name Tissanah from a book I’m reading called Daughter of No Worlds. Her character is an orphaned magical warrior with albino spotted skin/hair and two different colored eyes. I thought it was rather fitting. I’ll probably call her Tissy for short.

Little Sir’s genetic tests are back! He is bay Frame Overo with Splash W20. For those that don’t know, he is full Thoroughbred he will have Jockey Club and APHA papers! Goal is to keep him a stallion (if he behaves and continues to pass all my criteria) and either stand/compete him myself or sell him to someone who wants to so I can retain some breeding rights.
