For those coming this weekend, we are excited about our upcoming qualifying event and all the teams that are coming to compete. If you have never been to one of our events, here is some helpful information.

Directions: After turning onto Mossy Tree Ln, the driveway will be on the right, the next one after you pass the pool. After turning in the driveway, you will turn into the double gates on the right into the front 2 acre field. There will be signs. The blue on the map below is where the pool is located. The black box next to the pool will be where admin is located. The red line has orange barrels up as a barrier to how close you can park to the pool. You can park up against the red line and put up a pop-up tent inside the red line. Other than parking along the barrier line, you can also park anywhere where it says parking. You can also park over at the end of the pool where it says RVs but please don't park close to the RVs. Give them some space in case they need to park or leave.

Food: If you are wanting food, you can either bring stuff with you or there is a McDonald's and Burger King approx 6 miles away in Beech Island. Aiken is also about 20 minutes away with lots of options for food. And if interested, door dash does deliver to the property. We will have some drinks and water on hand.

Weather: The forecast is showing nice weather with a very small chance of rain, but it will be hot so please make sure you stay hydrated. It can be very humid here so if it says it's 95 out, it will feel like over 100.

Photographer: There will be a professional photographer on site who takes amazing photos. We will post the link to where you can get photos of your dogs after the event.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone. So far there are around 40 dogs entered and we can't wait to meet all of them. See everyone Saturday for 2 days of jumping fun.

Our UAD Regional Qualifier event for July 12-13th is now available to enter. Remember for this event you have to go to the 2025 Events & results page of the Ultimate Air Dogs website to see the information regarding the event and how you register for it. Just wanted to remind everyone that the dock is still open for practices. If you have been approved and need the link to sign up for a time spot, just fb message me and I will send it to you. For right now, when you sign up you will have to prepay that way we won't need to come out to the pool while you're here to collect payment. I miss not being able to do lessons right now. I made it through surgery fine and the nerve block was great while it lasted. Now I just have to manage the pain.

Unfortunately, due to the high probability of thunderstorms tomorrow, we decided to cancel tomorrow's splashes and games. We hate to do this but the safety of the handlers on the dock is more important especially when it comes to thunderstorms. The weather was rough today, but we pushed through and got all the scheduled events done. The dogs and handlers were amazing and in good spirits and despite the rain, they still had fun. We based the finals ribbons off the Splash #3 Bubble which I'm including below.

Our next event will be July 12-13th and will be a Regional Qualifier. When it gets closer, we will give information on how to enter because it won't be our normal google form, instead you will enter through the UAD website. We are also discussing about adding Friday (2 extra splashes) to our August event to make up for tomorrow's missed splashes.

We appreciate everyone that came out and spent the day with us, despite the weather. I also want to thank James Morton for stepping in to judge while I'm injured. And as always, thank you to Peggi Stahr and Shea Brooks for helping where needed, whether it be holding dogs, throwing for dogs, helping with stickers for ribbons, or handing out ribbons. It couldn't run as smoothly as it does without you both. Until we see you again, keep having fun with your pups.

PSAD May Dock Diving Event Information:

I have sent an email with this information to everyone that is entered, so this for those that have not entered yet but were thinking of coming.

First off, we are not doing Fetch-It at 9am each day. Check-in and practice is at 9am with the first splash starting at 10am. You are welcome to get her before 9 and check-in and practice. I should be at the admin tent starting around 8am.

You might want to leave early because they are paving on Silver Bluff Rd, right in front of Mossy Tree Ln. So give yourself some extra time.

There is rain in the forecast for tomorrow and Sunday. We may not take breaks between splashes and games if everyone is already check-in for the next slotted splash. We will try to get everyone's jumps in before the afternoon storms.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow morning and looking forward to seeing the dogs fly.

If you are coming for a practice between now and the 7th, be aware that there is a bridge out on Silver Bluff Rd. It's between Atomic Rd and our road (Mossy Tree Ln). The best route to come in is from US Hwy 278 and turn onto Silver Bluff Rd. There is a Dollar General on the corner of that intersection.

Hey everyone. So yesterday evening I broke part of my left leg. So as of right now there will only be practices available and no lessons. I will know more after Tuesday when I go to my Ortho appt. and will adjust the schedule accordingly. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. As for our event next weekend, it is still on and I can't wait to see everyone and their pups

The pool is ready to go and officially opens April 1st for lessons and practices. You can go to the carolinacanineathletics.com website to schedule a lesson time and for those approved for practices, you can use the link you have been given to schedule a time. Be aware that the current water temperature is only 60 degrees. So for now, please don't sign up for a lesson if it will require me getting in the water. You are more than welcome to get in the pool with your dog, if you can handle the water temperature.

I will be out of town from April 9-22nd so there won't be any lessons during that time and there will be limited practice times from the 14-21st since Shea will be on the property. Looking forward to a new season of dock diving fun. See you all on the dock.

So PSAD will now be offering dock diving in the summer and ice skating in the winter 🥶 lol. Hope everyone is enjoying our northern visitor and staying safe. Comment with pics of your dogs enjoying the fluffy water.

PS. My GSPs think the white stuff is too cold for them. The little scruffy dog, on the other hand, is loving it.

Good morning everyone! Our annual Spooktacular dock diving event is over and it was an amazing event. I want to sincerely thank every team that came out to compete with us for our last competition of the year. Your K9 partners jumped their best and had a blast despite the cold water. I also loved seeing all the costumes for our Annual Halloween costume contest

Next year we are planning some big things especially when it comes to finals prizes and with our new ribbons, 1st -3rd will receive a special prize and I think Shea is planning on adding a 4th and 5th place ribbon to the finals. So stay tuned!!!

The pool will remain open to practices and lessons until October 30th. Be aware, I will not be getting in the water during lessons so no brand new dogs please. You can sign up like usual on the CCAC website or just FB message us if interested in coming out.

Otherwise we will see everyone back on the dock when we open it late March, beginning of April depending on the weather. But until then, we hope everyone has a very happy Thanksgiving, very Merry Christmas, and a Happy Happy New Year!!!!!
