🐾🐾 Beginner Level Obedience Class 🐾🐾

Message, call or text to register!

Beginner class is designed to help you get a great start to a solid foundation of obedience with your dog. It’ll provide you with the tools and technique needed to teach the basic commands themselves (heel, sit, sit stay, down, down stay, stand, come, and more). It will build true consistency in the commands where your dog will choose to listen to your given command the FIRST time you ask because they will have gained that knowledge and respect for you through your consistency in working them. It will teach your dogs to find better focus in working with you and listening to you through various distractions. It will also give you the tools needed to correct any naughty manners and bad habits. Through all of this, your dog will learn to be much more confident and much happier, because a trained dog will always be a happier dog in life than an untrained dog. Your bond with your dog will strengthen and you will open up a whole new form of communication between you and your dog that will benefit you both. It will require work, consistency and patience on your end. This class will help you begin to mold your dog into the best version of themselves and/or help you fine tune any existing training. It will truly give you all the basics anyone needs in having a well behaved dog. The method of training works if you work it. If you follow through at home, practice and do the homework, it will truly pay off in the long run and make the rest of your time you spend with your four legged friend that much more enjoyable, for everyone. 🥰

Arlo was one of my first K9s that I trained. 🖤

🎉 Congratulations on Your Retirement, K9 Arlo! 🐾

K9 Arlo has officially retired, closing out a remarkable career that began when he and Deputy Kasulke #302 teamed up on April 17th, 2017. Since that day, Arlo has been a force on third shift — sharp, steady, and always ready for whatever the night brought.

Arlo was trained in obedience, building searches, area searches, article searches, tracking, and aggression control. That well-rounded training showed in everything he did. Arlo made hundreds of drug finds, tracked down suspects who thought they could outrun him, and assisted deputies on countless calls where his presence made all the difference. Whether it was locating a missing person or helping secure a chaotic scene, Arlo showed up with the same determination every single time.

Now it’s his turn to slow down, enjoy some well-deserved rest, and maybe trade night shifts for sunshine, snacks, and naps.

Please join us in thanking K9 Arlo and Deputy Kasulke for years of dedication, loyalty, and service to Kenosha County. Enjoy retirement, Arlo — you’ve earned every minute of it. 💙🐕
