Meet out mascot: Her story.
My name is warrior and this is her story.
On may 2nd 2018. The kill buyer listed me for a second chance. They called me parsle. My mommy and a bunch of others paid my bail so I could leave this scary place. However my new mommy paid for my feed bill here for an extra week until my ride could pick me up. This is where my story begins
On the way home from this place I about died. My ride had to stop by a vet. Because I was to week to hang on much longer. The vet helped doctor me so I could finish the last few hrs home.
When I got home my mommy gave me a bath and started cleaning my wounds. Had another vet come by and check me out. They gave me antibiotics and vitamins.
I also met my boy that day. He told me it would be ok. He didn't talk right and he wasn't like the other kids around me,
But he helped care for me and I fell in love with him he helped give me hope and a reason to live. I got better every day. He always came out and talked to me and told me I would ok and I would get better.
He taught me how to eat apples, and shared his favorite stuffed animal with me. He read to me out of books. He was always by my saide. As I got better he took me for walks.
He showed me love every day
As I healed I noticed his speech was improving. We became best friends.
He is still helping me learn to trust people. I only allow my boy to sit on my back and kiss me. He is mine and I am his.
It's now been 4 years since I was saved. I have finally realized that I'm with my forever family. I now allow my mommy to ride me. However I'm still not sure about strangers near me, but I'm slowly getting better about it. My boy is still my favorite human.
This little mare is was 3 years old when we got her she is now 7. She has helped my son in so many ways. He has helped him learn to talk better so that she could understand all of his commands and she has also taught him love and compassion towards animals. She was in a kill pen. They have an unbelievable connection to each other. And I told her story from her point of view. Vs his because she tells it best.
Her monthly cost is about 180 a month that includes her fairer and all her supplements and shots. If you would like to help with her care feel free to reach out on how to donate. I've listed pictures from how she was till now
