I may be devastated and heartbroken for the future of my program at the moment but at least she is alive and defied the odds again just not exactly how we wanted. 🐾💜🩵🩷🐾
Defy had to be spayed due to Pyometra. She was at the vet for 3 days on heavy antibiotics and care praying it would be open for a slightly better chance of battling it and staying intact but unfortunately that wasn't in the cards so making that tough decision was necessary to bring her home.
Know your dogs & trust your gut; I caught it way before it could turn into something nasty. Also keep in mind it can happen ANYTIME & ANY AGE, Defy last cycle was 5 months ago..
